What you need:
Mold, I use this one
Gypsum, I use this one
Mica coloring, I use this one
Gather a bowl, scale, cup, water, gypsum powder, and mica coloring. Ensure that you have everything within reach.
Consult the instructions provided with your gypsum powder. Generally, for 100 grams of gypsum powder, you'll need to use 30 grams of water. Adjust the measurements accordingly based on the amount you want to make.
In a bowl, thoroughly mix the water and gypsum powder until you achieve a smooth and consistent mixture. If you wish to add mica coloring for a touch of allure, incorporate it before adding the water. Mix it well to evenly distribute the coloring.
Pour the gypsum mixture into the mold, ensuring it is evenly spread. If you desire a captivating marble effect using two colors, add the second batch of the mixture immediately. For a more layered effect, wait until the first layer has hardened before adding the second batch.
Allow the mixture to sit in the mold for approximately 24 hours or until it has hardened completely. This duration may vary depending on the brand of gypsum powder you are using.
Once the mixture has hardened, carefully demold the gypsum candle pot. Leave it to air dry for about a week to ensure it is fully dry and ready to use.
